These were finished on April 2, 2011. It took me this long to blog about it because the knit scars are that deep from working on this nightmare.
I am always trying to knit something for Lorena. She never wants anything, so of course I knit her crap anyway.
Be careful knitters - be careful what you ask for. Cuz Lorena finally came up with a request.
The Royal Wedding - knitted.
I had to do it. Lorena has been there for me during - well during everything. I knew I couldn't do it alone, at least not without killing someone. I convinced my knitting gals to help.
The awesome ladies in my knitting group took mercy on me and helped me make all of these lovely creatures. Sally made the Queen, Prince Charles & the Duchess of Cornhole (ha). Helen made the amazing Corgies. Kathie did Prince Phillip. Christina made the amazing Archbishop. I was in charge of the sad looking Bride & Groom - and Janny did the main part of Harry while I tried to make him look his best at the end.
We had these done by the day of the Royal Wedding. Lorena teared up.
I had better see these friggin' things on display every time I visit her house.
See my versions at my project page at Ravelry.

Lorena came to my place and we got up at the crack of dawn to watch the wedding and pig out on our British-style feast.
It was amazing. I love Renola!
