Laura from my knitting group gave me this gorgeous skein of Kraemer Sterling Silver & Silk yarn that I had been drooling over. I think it was actually a gift to her from a family member. She said that she had it sitting in her stash for a long time and didn’t know what to make with it, so she was passing it on to me in hopes of it becoming something beautiful.
Well, who else could this project be for, but for Laura herself. She gets the yarn back, but now in the shape of the Annis shawlette (pattern available for free here at knitty.com).
Love this pattern but I hated the doing the nupps. I would make this again, but may replace the horrid nupps with beads or something.
