Tuesday night when I headed up to my Awesome Knitting Group, the Super Cool Knit Chics had an amazing surprise for me. They had all banded together to knit squares to create an afghan for my hubby Mike

When hubby got sick (story here), we converted a bedroom into his medical room. I, of course, had to cover it in knitted heart items in keeping with the Messed Up Heart Theme we have going as a form of sanity (Well, sane is relative, right?) The Awesome Knit Chics decided to take it even further and knit squares and squares of heart themed goodness and make them into an afghan that fits his little nap bed perfectly!
Also included was a hand colored and mighty detailed chart showing each square and who knitted it. Love it!
I don't think anyone has ever done anything so labored and thoughtful for me.
Mike said he was not deserving of so many stitches, but managed to get over that and made use of the new wooby immediately.

Thank you so much ladies.
It was OUR blessing to be able to do something for you two awesome friends!

Happened over from GrammiePammie's place.
The blankie is very lovely.
And Thank You for the photo of the drawing/ description. Knowing Pam, I just knew she had gone to a bit of detail with that little extra information.
Here's hoping there is enough love and hope fixed in the stitches to hold over until medical news improves.
