My father-in-law sent me (3) 90 yard skeins of Qiviut from Cottage Craft Angora. That's right - incredibly over-priced-but-utterly-worth-it 100% Musk Ox Qiviut yarn.
I had seen this stuff before from City Knits, but never indulged.
Oh how the Yarn Gods deliver. This is the softest, most luxurious stuff I have ever knit with. The color is perfect - sort of brown but sort of gray. I love it!
After trolling Ravelry for hours, I finally found a pattern with the right amount of yardage that looked complex but was simple enough even for my feeble brain to knit up.
