Hubby's hospital bed is a short walk from City Knits in Detroit. It's shocking it took me this many days to crack and head over there.
The knitting gods took mercy on me, as they had numerous mini balls of Shephard's Wool & discounted Lambs Pride - just what I needed for my mini felted heart project.
I don't know how that sheep got in there.

My brother Brian (jacknifeboy on ravelry) got me the awesome present for Xmas - a personalized yarn bowl! I shove a ball of yarn in the bowl, thread the end of the yarn through the Y in Missy, and knit away. Sweet yarn action.
My husband (now known as Sicky Face) has been dealing with some health issues lately (more on that later), which have left me with some time constraints. 5am seemed like a good time to take care of those nasty roots and get some time in on my Sicky Face Slouch Hat in the new, and may I say awesome, Knit Picks Chroma yarn.
Pfoxie's sleep didn't seem to be effected by the early a.m. knitting disturbance.
