Long story short - my poor hubby Mike caught a virus, had a heart attack and a stroke, and now he needs a heart transplant. In the middle of that he needs an LVAD mechanical heart to keep things flowing till a heart is available.
LVAD was installed yesterday, February 9, 2010.
We are telling our story here and there via photos and knitted items, along with a pretty dark sense of humor.
When your life is turned upside down, it's the little things that keep you going :)
